Luchenbach Car Show

A few weekends ago I went to the Luckenbach Rod & Custom Car Show with some of my family. If you’ve never been to Luckenbach it’s kind of just a building know as the post office with a very small bar and big stage in the back.

The car show pretty much allowed anything with four wheels to enter. So there were some cars that were crap but I was surprised with some of the cars I did see; 3 Shelby Cobras. Below are some images of my favorite car at the show.

There were a few new model Mustangs, Camaros, and Challengers. The Camaro below looked really sharp and some kid kept saying “look, it’s bumblebee”.

Overall the car show was pretty cool, although I would not recommend going to one in the middle of the day during summer; we should have gone first thing that morning. Check out my Flickr set to see more photos of the show.

I just finished some quick edits on the photos from my Fredericksburg trip and I’m in the process of uploading them to Flickr.

Blog….What blog?

Well I did a lot of work on the site a few weeks ago and was blogging for a few days…. but as usual I stop. I’m currently in a class learning HTML and JavaScript; tuition well spent! I’ve only been programming this crap for over 10 years so I’m not very happy at the moment. I really like the professor but this is ridiculous. Ohhh, now we’re talking about JavaScript pop-up dialogs with two buttons, wow!!

Going to Dallas this weekend to visit my little bother who just finished Marine boot camp; should be fun. Hopefully I’ll get some time to take pictures and update my blog. Maggie is coming to Dallas with us this weekend so I hope she’ll have fun and not learn any bad habits from Rascal, a.k.a. pisser.

Spring Break

Well, unfortunately Spring Break is over and I’m back at work. Here are some pictures from Port Isabel (next to South Padre). There is a great sea food restaurant called Pirates Landing (great blazin’ red fish) that has a new pirate ship that takes you around the bay. They were booked solid while we were there so we didn’t get to go on the boat but we did watch part of their skit and one of the pirates tried to attack us.
