Wow, this summer is flying by pretty fast.  Things have been crazy with work and school but I’m down to my last two semesters!  Hopefully I’ll get some downtime over the next two weeks and become an active member of society again.  The picture above is of Maggie and Mya on our way to San Antonio, TX.  Maggie is almost 2 years old (5 more days) and Mya is growing up fast!

I’m currently in a class learning HTML and JavaScript; tuition well spent! I’ve only been programming this crap for over 10 years so I’m not very happy at the moment. I really like the professor but this is ridiculous. <sarcasm> Ohhh, now we’re talking about JavaScript pop-up dialogs with two buttons, wow!! </sarcasm>

Going to Dallas this weekend to visit my little bother who just finished Marine boot camp; should be fun. Hopefully I’ll get some time to take pictures and update my blog. Maggie is coming to Dallas with us this weekend so I hope she’ll have fun and not learn any bad habits from Rascal, a.k.a. pisser.

My Lastolite ezybox came in and I figured I’d try it out on my most willing model, Maggie. She never gripes, is extremely photogenic, and always has a smile (well until she gets sick of my taking pictures and not playing with her). So the ezybox is a 24″x24″ to the left of the camera. The shooting area was really tight and the model was constantly moving :) so the light source is pretty bright. But I like how it makes her supper white and black and that yellow ball just pops. This is by far one of the best pictures I’ve ever taken of Maggie!
